Hello Family!
Thanks to Kyle for starting this blog - message center - whatever. I hope we can all stay in touch better by using it! I would love to see pictures of all of us and hear the latest about what is going on in every ones life!
Here is a picture of our family enjoying a Christmas present of a day on snowmobiles at Strawberry Lodge. It was cold but soo soooo beautiful. The sun shone on the tops of the pine trees and across the mountain ranges. The sites were breath taking - (see can't you see our breath leaving us, it was really cold! ) It wasn't until half way that Ed turned on the hand warmers for Brenda on her machine. That helped a ton. Kelsey and Lexie maneuvered their own machine and only got stuck twice in the powder. Nicole loved going fast on Dad's machine and Ben and Mom kept up at a moderate 30 mph.
Ed did happen to have his machine fall out from under him as he crossed a road and he hit the handle bars pretty hard. The machine killed and Lexie found him face down in the snow. After 15 stiches across his chin, a badly sprained hand and lots of bruises internally and a ER doctor that could not believe that there were no internal injuries - (He made him stay overnight in the ICU to make sure) mom brought him home the next day and he continues to heal. We are so so lucky, blessed, it was a miracle that nothing else was wrong. So now you know where all those prayers to travel safely go to!!!!
Hope you all had a great Christmas and thanks for all the letters and cards.
